TextEditor provides free, browser-based text tools including an online notepad, word counter, character counter, case converter, text cleaner, and Markdown preview. All processing happens in your browser.

2. No Warranty

TextEditor is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the site will be available at all times, free of errors, or free of data loss.

3. Data & Storage

Your text and preferences are stored in your browser’s local storage. This data can be lost if you clear browser data, switch browsers, or reinstall your operating system. You are responsible for downloading or backing up any text you want to keep.

We do not store, access, or recover your text. There is no server-side backup or recovery feature.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use TextEditor to:

• Distribute malware, phishing content, or illegal material.
• Overload or disrupt the site through automated scripting or abuse.
• Attempt to exploit vulnerabilities in the site or its hosting infrastructure.

5. Intellectual Property

The text you write belongs to you. The TextEditor name, logo, design, and source code are the property of their respective owners and may not be copied or redistributed without permission.

6. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall TextEditor or its creators be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site, including loss of data.

7. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms at any time. The updated version will be posted at this URL. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
